Utah State Constitution Depth and Complexity Activity Pack

Would you like to study Utah's Constitution in a unique, engaging, and high-level thinking way your 7th graders will LOVE? This Utah Constitution resource has five fabulous activities based on the Depth and Complexity framework. You'll love the variety you'll get with these activities! Students will compare the Utah Constitution to the US Constitution, compare it to Utah's symbols, respond to writing prompts, and enjoy these different activities.

There are digital versions of the applicable activites provided in Google Slides format.

✅ A differentiated option for the maze activity for high-ability students

✅ 8 task cards about changes in the Utah Constitution with 4 unique writing prompts in a fun Utah shaped format to go with them

✅ 2 different options for an analogy activity, one independent and one for small groups
✅ Fun facts activity where students complete and then put in order 8 facts about Utah's Constitution (can be done as cut-and-paste or digitally)
